Details have emerged on the amount of money organizers of the cancelled concert by embattled Congolese musician Koffi Olomide lost after he was kicked out of the country.
It has emerged that pre-planning of the event had cost more than Sh10 million ranging from travel expenses, accommodation to his personal remuneration for the performance which had been set for Saturday night.
Reports indicate that before he set foot in the country on Friday, the musician had already been paid half of the money he was meant to earn during his three-day stay in the country.
The organisers of the highly-publicised concert had reportedly spent close to Sh3 Million on return air tickets from Congo to Nairobi for the renown musician, his band and dancers.
For accommodation, the 60-year and his band had been booked at the posh Villa Rosa Kempinski where he was to spend his time while in the City.
