According to the complainant, Odhiambo had violated the oath of office she took as a Member of the National Assembly and “is in contravention of the ethical requirement mandated to her as an MP.”
Additionally, the activist is requesting that the MP be ordered to make a public apology through the media over the insulting words she hurled at Kenyatta.
Pending determination of the suit, the petitioner further wants Odhiambo, her agents or servants restrained from making similar utterances that would denigrate the Presidency.
In the same case, Njuguna has also enjoined the Attorney General and the Speaker of the National Assembly.
