The final list of president Uhuru’s cabinet is here and this is the exact date they will be announced

New details have emerged on when President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to forward the names of his new cabinet to parliament for vetting.

According to the Nation, the president could submit some names to the National Assembly as early as this coming week.

Another possibility established by the newspaper is January which will allow lawmakers to break for Chrismas and end year celebrations before they resume their duties in 2018.

After a rigorous campaign period, Mr Kenyatta and  DP William Ruto have committed more time to form the government by cutting back on their public engagements- this according to sources privy to the presidential diary.

Nearly all of their handlers and close allies have been sidelined as the Jubilee duo has resorted to engaging in closed-door meetings or through telephone conversations with people who are believed are crucial in crafting the next government.

The Nation reported that the president and his deputy have been receiving delegations seeking to compel them to reward their communities.

For example on Wednesday, DP Ruto met a group from Masailand while on Thursday the President held discussions with a delegation from Ukambani.
